FPRA’s 79th Annual Conference "It’s Personal: Research. Relate. Respond." is a four day conference of unparalleled professional development and networking for public relations professionals. 

Attendees will hear from major industry and thought leaders who will provide the inspiration, motivation and affirmation needed to help rocket your PR efforts to new heights.

This year’s conference will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando from August 6th to 9th.

Conference attire is professional business. Please note that the average temperature in the hotel is 72 degrees. To ensure comfort, attendees may want to have a sweater or jacket available.

For the President’s Welcome Reception, casual attire is recommended. As this year’s theme is Harry Potter, attendees are encouraged to wear house-themed clothing.

The Golden Image Awards Banquet is formal wear, black-tie optional.

Lisa Murray, APR, CPRC is a nationally accredited and award-winning public relations professional. As Senior Manager of Corporate Communications at Interop Technologies, she leads the development and implementation of PR and marketing strategies throughout the United States, Europe and South America. In her role, Murray works to use technology to broaden business relationships, drive brand awareness, surpass strategic goals and achieve maximum profitability.

Before joining Interop Technologies, Murray spent a decade implementing communication strategies for a variety of businesses in the healthcare, hospitality, lifestyle, automotive and non-profit industries. In 2016, she earned her accreditation in public relations (APR) and in 2018, she earned the certified public relations counselor (CPRC) designation. Murray holds a bachelor's degree in communication from East Carolina University.

Murray has been an FPRA member since 2014 and has served in chapter leadership consecutively for the last six years. In 2019, she was named the Chapter President of the Year and she received the Unsung Hero Award from the Southwest Florida Chapter in 2020. She has led many successful public relations campaigns that have been recognized with FPRA’s Image and Golden Image Awards, as well as the coveted Grand Golden Image Award which she earned in 2018. Currently she serves on the FPRA Executive Committee as the Vice President of Accreditation and Certification for the 2020-2021 term.
